LOOKWELL still considers leather to be the best material for
manufacturing motorcycle apparel for providing the best combination
of safety, comfort and durability.
All suits, pants and jackets are made of the highest quality abrasion resistant,
drum-dyed Cow hide leather of 1.2 < > 1.4 mm.
Insulated linings are made from moisture wicking, hypoallergenic
fabric, which easily removable for warmer weather riding.
Leather edges are folded, rather than just cut before stitched,
which help to prevent leather to tear at seems.

SAFETY STICHING:
LOOKWELL is known around the globe for its precise stitching.
Compare the visible stitching of any LOOKWELL garment with
our competitor’s products and you will immediately notice the
difference. Normal stitches are extremely vulnerable during
an unfortunate crash. The thread loops can be severed just
from the abrasion on the road surface. Once the loops are cut,
the garment can fall apart, leaving the rider unprotected.
To prevent this, Safety, or concealed stitching, is used; Panels
are stitched from the inside with blind seams and an additional
strip of abrasion resistant leather is added for reinforcement.
Every seam with safety stitching is stitched four to six times. This
is one of the least seen details, yet one of the most important
safety features.
LOOKWELL’s racing developed designs offer the ultimate in protection,
while the rider still enjoys much needed full range movement.

COMBO SYSTEMS:
Combo leather jackets and pants are fitted with a waist zipper
connection.
These zippers make it possible to mix and match all Combo system
jackets and pants sizes 52 to 62.
NOTE: A 2-piece suit is NOT quite the same as a COMBO.
A 2-piece suit has totally different cut and dimensions and should
be seen as a separable 1-piece suit.
